Reply:well i like the band greenday.they are a older band they started in 1994 as greenday but had a band before them called sweet children.they still rocked.but lets get back to the point.it sound really good because of the tabs on the bass and guatiar.they have a really strong guatiar sound in alot of there songs.like jesus of surburbia during the instument section.you can see it at yahoo music ,the best website to see them play the drums, guatiar, and bass is on www.mtv/overdrive.com its a great site and you can see the strenght of the guatiar.other songs have it to.try goig to greendayauthority.com and go to fan music.you'll see songs and click on them to listen to them.they rock out loud.so greenday the people in the band are billie joe amrstrong/guatiar/lead vocals, mike dirnt/vocals/bass jason freese/guatiar/vocals jason white/guatiar/vocals, and tre cool/vocals/drums they have perfect tabs and perfect beat.they rock and keep you entertain you.so just try them.there what you want?
Reply:Try "Baby Hates Me" by Danko Jones. I didn't like it at first, but it actually sounds good , so try it, and I hope you'll like it.
Reply:It depends on what you want in it. As for heavy and varying distortion, I would suggest the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Listen to "Throw Away Your Television" and "Give It Away" to see their best distortion effects. For actual hardness like guitar solos I would strongly suggest Motörhead with "Killed By Death" (especially opening and closing solos, absolute masterpiece in my opinion) and "Dead Men Tell No Tales". All songs by Motörhead are pretty rough and good rhythm songs by them would also be "Live To Win" and of course their most widely-known song "Ace of Spades" as featured as the feature song on the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 soundtrack. Other than that I would also suggest Rise Against more or less for their work incorporating the bass into the songs like in "Life Less Frightening" and a classic one by them would be "Give It All". Also try Papa Roach with "Blood Brothers" which features one of the top rated opening rhythm parts in my opinion and "More Than A Feeling" by Boston is also a classic on the guitar. Also try "Sharp Dressed Man" by ZZ Top, "Drive" by Incubus, "Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd, "Paint It Black" by the Rolling Stones and "American Pie" by Don McLean.
Reply:Journey to the Center of the Mind by the Amboy Dukes. Lead guitarist for this group was Ted Nugent.
Reply:Metallica has great guitar riffs. They perfected speed metal. Of course Led Zeppelin has some of the most recognizable guitar riffs in music or listen to Sweet Child O" Mine by Guns and Roses.
Reply:Styx, great guitar and keyboard. Try the song "Blue Collar Man"
Reply:Muse - Plug in baby
Muse - Microcuts
Placebo - The bitter end
Linkin Park - Fade
Reply:Rush- "Limelight", "Fly By Night"
