Music too loud- dad has no consideration?

And not to mention he gets really mad at me if I tell him his music is too loud! I do my homework downstairs in the living room because my room is stuffy and no room for computer desk. It's not convenient in my room, let's just say. He plays music every single day for lunch and dinner and sometimes he'll do it longer and longer, for most of the day! Well, I'm a college student, senior year, and it's been like this for years.





Question: is it fair for him to blast the music in all our ears (mum and me)? Whenever my mom plays her music, he gets PISSED and insults her taste of music. Saying she listens to "low" music instead of classical music (EVEN THOUGH HE NEVER LISTENS TO CLASSICAL!). HYPOCRITE!





He gets mad when I or my mum play our music! It makes me mad. One time he even threw his lap top the ground when I told him, "hey dad, I'm really stressing out, can you lower the volume please? I got homework due tomorrow". He reacted monstrously and violently. Is this fair?

You are in your last year at college and will be moving out soon. So why fight over something that you can't win or change. Get some ear plugs and suffer through until you can move.

hes crazy.maybe u should sit him down somewhere and talk to him about it.if hes always mad and crazy then get him help
