Who hires music therapists?

i have been thinking of switching from a music performance major to a music therapy major. now that i think about it, what kind of job prospect is there in music therapy? would it be better to switch into psychology and take courses in music therapy? the local hospitals nearby don't hire music therapists (which is where i thought music therapists worked). The reason i'm considering music therapy is because it combines my two interests: music and psychology.
